HACCP Certification Process
HACCP certificate is not awarded once-and-for-all ,it must be renewed on expiry of the certificate, After applying for the audit to the certification body , it conducts the initial audit in two parts , First is stage one audit and second is stage 2 audit. After successfully conduction of audit, certification body issues the certificate with validity of one year till next yearly surveillance audit and in three years of certification cycle certification body conducts two surveillance audit with one year of intervals. Basically, audits are conducted every year in three years. In some cases, according to the complexity of the product certification body, it conducts the surveillance audit on every six months. After completion of three years of audit cycle re-audit will be conducted to continue the process of certification.
