GSV is a certification-based security program for importers, carriers, consolidators, licensed customs brokers and manufactures etc. It is becoming widely accepted standard by international customers and retail stores. Brands and international buyers are demanding more effective measures for evaluating suppliers’ security system. Factories are also becoming more proactive in finding ways to benchmark themselves and track progress against competitors and international standards. Factory can get the certificate after successful certification audit but it’s the score based certification and certificate is issued if any factory meets the minimum score in audit which is required to get the certificate issued as well as different customers set different acceptable score against the audit.
